The Gen 1 concept keeps all six parent-approved people visible at once. There is no scrolling or hidden contact list on the child-facing home screen.
No. The current design uses a confirmation step and calls a trusted contact chosen by the parent. It is not a replacement for 911 or other emergency services.
Yes. Parents use an app for setup and family contacts. Android setup has been tested with a prototype; iPhone setup is still in development. Neither app is available to download yet.
The prototype stores family information locally and uses an authenticated connection to synchronize approved contact changes between the Owner App and Tablet. Production cloud services and final privacy and retention terms are still being developed.
